gee, Mom, I want to go home

No matter how many tell Radar otherwise, he's still not convinced that he's not dreaming. Back at M*A*S*H, he'd had some pretty strange dreams and he'd known that the doctors had, too. Nobody really talked about the, but it wasn't the sort of thing that needed to talked about. It was just obvious in the way everybody moved of a morning, the way they stared into their coffee cup instead of sipping at it.
In any case, if this is a dream, it's more strange than any he's had before. He's been told he can't leave, not unlike the army, but also given more freedom than he's had in years. He's been told it's 2017 – like something out of a cartoon or a comic, only he's never read anything like it.
He finds himself missing M*A*S*H more than he ever thought he would. Finds himself looking for it in the city and surprises himself when, one day, he finds it in the bloody hand of a young girl.
"One of them... Some asshole bully took things way too far, and the rest of the guys had to come up with what they needed to get him fixed up. S'kind of how we all started hanging out, actually."
"Bullies are worst," he says, stepping back when he's done fixing the girl's hand as best as he knows. He wishes Hawkeye were here. Hell, even Frank – speaking of bullies. "He was okay? The – your friend, I mean, not the bully."
Even if bullies need care, too, or so say the beds at M*A*S*H filled with North Koreans.
